The head brewer was handed bags of grain by the owners and told to go forth and make good beer. As he left the meeting weighed down by numerous types of grain and countless recipes he grabbed a poutine (thinking man’s food) and sat down at the river to ponder.
Staring out with cheese in his mustache and gravy dripping from his chin he watched as people enjoyed this beautiful waterway and had his light bulb moment. This is how the idea for the Brown Ale was born.
